Two in a row, bitches!...  Razz  Lol

A new all-time motorcycle record to boot! 11:11.32

I will concede that the new record is probably down to more and more of the road is paved each year, not exactly pure 'dirt-prowess' on the part of the MTS.  Also, just guessing, more pavement led to the unlimited four-wheeler racer to finally break the seemingly unbreakable 10 minute mark...

"Racer Carlin Dunne Sets All-Time Pikes Peak Motorcycle Record In Rookie Appearance

Colorado Springs (June 27)-------------Carlin Dunne won the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Sunday on the Ducati Multistrada 1200, setting an all time event motorcycle record with a clocking of 11:11.32 in winning the touch 1205 CC division, giving the Italian brand its second consecutive victory in the historic race and earning Dunne the title of Motorcycle King of the Mountain.

It was another shining moment in a day filled with epic moments, including the fall of the elusive ten-minute mark when Japan’s Nobuhiro Tajima roared to a record 9:51.278 in winning his sixth straight Unlimited auto championship."

Still, my hat's off to any moto-rider pushing to set a record on a Pikes Peak run. I mean, < Miles > Look at the penalty for failure dude... < /Miles > . Pikes Peak is probably the closest/only thing we have left in the U.S. that could near-compare with the Isle of Man TT.

Check out the spectator accommodations. No Pit Row luxury boxes for the VIPs.

Ducati would have been even faster if they didn't have to stop halfway up and adjust the valves......  Bigok
