Really considering magentic trailer lights as a permanent solution

Well, I rewired and put in LEDs, and have some funky results. The brake lights work, but the blinkers do NOT work. And when I try to put on the right blinker, it clicks ONCE and stays continuously on on the truck (doesn't even flash on the truck). Considering that the blinker and brake lights are supposed to be the same wire, it makes it dificult to believe that the wiring is the issue, but who the hell knows with trailer lights?!
SO ... has anyone else tried, or does anyone have any suggestions for just buying those magnetic tow lights and putting them on for each individual trip? This way I KNOW the wiring's good, it's much easier to troubleshoot, and I can take them off after EVERY trip and not worry about it being out in the elements all day every day. Especially when I use my trailer infrequently.
Thanks.

Not really enough information.
But, if your truck has separate brake and signal lights and the trailer doesn't, your problem sounds similar to my experience when wiring my Altima to tow my motorcycle trailer. I got a signal converter that got the logic right but the signal lights would occasionally work on one one side and not at all on the other - just light up and stay on. The fix was a powered signal converter. I connected it to a power outlet and everything works perfectly. Plus the lights are bright. With the non-powered system the lights on the trailer that worked were dim - a sign that not enough power was available just by tapping into the wiring for the car lights.
Signal light flashers depend on having the right amount of current. If you add lights they might work, or they might not if the total current is out of the range they can handle.
Even if your truck and trailer have the same light system, there might be converters that drive the trailer lights off accessory power while using the truck wiring just for switching signals. That should fix your problem if you can find one - mine was about $75.

I don't see what magnetic lights do for you except make the wire runs easier to examine.
Did you know they have wireless lights now?
But neither would help if the problem is in your vehicle harness, as it sounds.

Turns out it was in the trailer. Don't know WHERE in the trailer, but in the trailer. So I changed my vehicle's 7 pin to a 7 AND 4 way combo from an auto parts store, and everything works well. There was also a LOT of corrosion on my vehicles 7 pin wiring which I'm sure didn't help it, so switching it out worked out.

PS - Still using magnetic lights. I don't wanna have lights just getting rained on, frozen, etc. etc. I can just bring the magnetic ones inside when I'm not using it, and put it on only when I wanna use the trailer.
