Not to hijack, but where is your iphone mounted to take pics while riding ?

Anyway, I don't believe a word of this whole story, I regularly strip chrome off those rolling trash cans passing at a whole 80 k an hour, cause for them, thats FAST!!!

Correct, they are usually rolling roadblocks... That's why I had to document this.

As for the camera mount, it was my left thumb and 3 fingers, I had to keep my pinky extended for balance! Cool
I may have to rig up a mount if I ever want to do this again

Keep in mind that HD motors can be worked like any other. I just sold a Sportster that would run 140MPH after alot of work.Cams, valve springs, exhaust and ignition and you are all but there. The hard part isnt getting the motor to achieve that kinda feat, its getting the bike to feel stable over 90.   With that I say goodluck.

how about the brake pad warning light then?

The scarlet glow bloomed, So I replaced the rear pads with aftermarket pads before this trip, sorry I didn't think the now discontinued "enlighten" pads are worth the bucks.
I stripped & connected the leads to complete the circuit, but the light stayed on. Crazy
I suspect there's a code that needs reset, but I had no time before the trip. I have the suspension link recall to address and will have it in the shop next week.
