I just spoke to my dealer. The rack is in, just waiting for the case and color matched insert now. Hopefully they'll show up soon.

Is this the OEM one with the 12V socket? Are there contacts on the rack for the electric?

Yep, it's the OEM case. There's a pigtail under the seat and rubber stopper in the middle of platform on the back of the bike. I'm not yet sure how the final connection is made but I'll let you know when I finally get a hold of it.

Thanks. I'm interested if they incorporated a quick-disconnect or if you will need to pull apart plugs each time.

I called the dealership back today to see where we stand on this whole top case thing. Triumph is now estimating a ship date around September 28th.
I guess that's what happens when you buy a first year product.

The dealer told us the same, time frame Sept, Maybe.....
So I opt for a GIVI. Mainly we needed something for our trip. Kinda like the CooCase a little better though.

I thought you were probably on the Pace Podcast tour, which I thought was still happening? I was hoping to see pics of a shwank Sprint GT in any trip photos. I guess not.

The trip is on. I had to back out due to a medical situation with a close family member. I just can't be that far away from home right now.
