So obviously they are trying to sell Vanguard, but WTH is Vanguard - the investment bankers, Vanguard - insignia makers for the US military, Vanguard - the documentary making company, or Vanguard - the preschool in KY?

it's obvious from the lingering shots over the polished gas tank that they're trying to capture the essence of Guzziness for their own devious purposes.

I'm not sure what the appeal is supposed to be in the ads.  I'm more interested in the Guzzi than the George Michael.

dubbing in a Harley soundtrack is a sacrilege!  Angry3

As my friend once said, after he heard the sound of my old V65C compared to his Softail, "The sound of the Guzzi is reason enough to make HD lose customers..." Wink

He stomped down put the bike in gear. Eldorados go up for first, unless they've had the shifter changed, which I hate. On an Eldo, it just feels right to step down for higher gears.

From his poor technique (foot dragging), lack of decent gear, and slow speed (passed by a 4 banger pick up?), I'd say he was more concerned about fashion than riding.  His choice of boutique bike was correct.
