Meet the new Harley Dyna Switchback.

Doesn't this look like something Victory made a few years ago?

Withstupid  Luckily the local Harley dealership has a poster showing the lineup.  I had no clue they made so many different models.

I thought they were as follows:

Sportster
Soft-tail (from TV's Renegade)
Baggers

FLH forks on a FX frame.  Same old parts juggling.  Shrug

Not that there's anything wrong with that!  Lol

They're not FLH forks. They look like them though.

The wheels are horrible.

Is the head light taken off the old Sport Glide?  Which I think was the precursor to the Road King.

The new 2012 Dyna Switchback is based on the same premise as the CVO Softail Convertible as the fork-mounted windshield and hard saddlebags pop off without the use of tools and only takes minutes to convert. This gives the motorcycle dual purpose as a touring motorcycle AND a cruiser.

Marketing at its finest.  Bigok

I love flexibility but does that really make it "dual purpose"?  Wink

Of course!
I get the same dual purpose effect on my Vespa, depending if I ride with my faceshield up or down.

I think it's the best looking bike in the Harley Lineup...that isn't a V-rod. But I still wouldn't buy either one of them.

to me it looks just like _______. It blends with all the other "safe" bikes they push out. I wish somebody over there had some gald  and okay-ed something really different. Take me down a road i haven't been on before.
