My '01 K1200RS is missing another couple of fairing screws (bolts?).
Can I use screws from the hardware store?  Are the BMW screws nylon?
What can I use for 'locktite' on nylon screws?

They're fairly normal Torx metric hardware, save for the large head, used to distribute the load on the tupperware.  I wouldn't use nylon (or other plastics) screws - however, seeing as how you need metric hardware, the odds of finding metric plastic hardware at Sears True Ace Depot is somewhat greater than zero.  But not by much.

I've found Ace Hardware is pretty good for metric stuff. I've bought identical or close enough bolts there for both my BMWs and you only have to buy as many as you need rather than blister packs of 20.

FYI: Some of the K1200RS/GT fairing screws are longer than others because they have to go through two layers of fairing to get to the frame.

The OP raised the idea of plastic hardware.  Ace, etc. often have metric hardware but not nylon, delrin, etc. metric hardware.
