It took 30 minutes.
But I sold it for $500 under KBB value because I wanted the cash cushion to put in the bank, since I planned to clean out the savings account to buy the F650 four days later.
Love love love the F650. Much less happy with the PO who neglected to tell me that the front brake switch had been removed for some reason, and the receptacle for the switch in the harness had also been cut - leaving me with no brake light from my front brake for the entire 170 mile ride home.
My guess is that he accidentally cut it while installing the heated grips, and rather than try to fix it (which is going to involve removing most of the plastic and the dash), he just pulled the rest of it off the bike.
