Tuonos used to come with a 15T inside the cowl over the passenger seat area for installation when the bikes were delivered.  Mine came that way.

Yep, its there. Thanks

Excellent.   Thumbsup  I think the 16T was needed for emissions reasons.  The T was always intended to have the 15T gearing.

Other logical modifications are reinforced lower link plates for the rear shock (about $50 from AF1).  This may actually fix a non-problem, but it was cheap so I did it.  There's a brown connector in the charging system that some people have had problems with (it melts) and I took mine out and just put in permanent bullet connectors with shrink wrap tubing over them.  Again, this may fix a non-problem but it was winter and you gotta do something with your time.

Eventually you may want to replace the rear shock with Ohlins, after 10,000 miles or so.

Can't think of much else.  The bike is a blast and pretty much bulletproof.   Bigok

Oh, keep it on a battery tender.  This is important as these bikes like a fully charged battery at all times.  Low battery impacts the sprag clutch for some reason which is an expensive fix.

I've got over 20K on mine with no significant issues.   Shrug   Bigok
