I think the C14 is in my future for two up touring.  How do folks like the link brakes and is ABS worth getting?  Who sells handle bar adjusting brakets and lowering kits for the pegs?  If I pull the bars back about 1 inch it will fit well; may not need to lower the pegs.  I never had a bike with linked brakes and not sure I will like them.

There are several manufacturers of risers and lowing pegs out there.

The linked brakes are not the greatest system out there.  That being said I got used to it pretty quickly.  You'll get some pulsing through the brake lever or foot lever depending on how you brake and how it's setup.

The ABS is a personal decision.  It works well and I probably won't buy another street bike without ABS.

Could you mention a few places to get the parts?

for the pegs, buy a set of Buel pegs from the HD dealer for about 40.00 bucks.

No linked brakes on my '08 but I love her anyway!  I have the ABS model (no choice in the matter over here) and wouldn't be without it - it has saved my butt in the pouring rain one night...

Haven't tried risers or lowering the pegs (I've dragged both pegs a few times so don't want 'em any closer to the ground) as she fits me just fine.

Just make sure you put some decent tyres on it: PR2's are the way to go although I'm trying some PR3's at the mo...
