Dry best I can tell.

Just looked at live timing for FP1 Superstock 1000 and saw 'T (Taylor) Knapp' on a ZX-10R...

Cool beans.  Thumbsup Being semi-bilingual allows me to figger out most euro languages. I got yer Spanish, Italian, German (auf naturlich) and yer Dutch and Belgian Flemish, though the last borders on French and it escapes me most times.

Where in the heck did Hopper come from? I thought he was just racing BSB
Another ex-GP racer making good in WSB, nice to see him back and healthy.
Should be interesting to see Max charge from the back of the pack, could be some interesting racing.

He's racing as a wild-card.  BSB bikes are built to pretty much the same spec as WSB, so it's a good match- not like throwing an AMA Superbike in the WSB field would be.

And once again, That Spanish Guy crushes all.  Checa seems like the anti-Biaggi.  He never complains, is gracious in defeat, and humble with his dominating wins.  As a plus, he's killing everybody, while riding the slowest bike in the field.

It's absolutely incredible how smooth and comfortable he looks on the Duc. Haslam looks like they may have figured some things out. I'm hoping for better days ahead for the Beemer.

Don't forget that he is one of the "senior" riders out there, and he rides a Ducati Multistrada on the street!

I read it in an interview, he rides with friends back home in Spain. You're correct in that a lot of athletes have clause in their contracts prohibiting a lot of dangerous activities. I remember back in the mid nineties when one of the Atlanta Braves, (Ron somebody) broke  a leg in a motorcycle crash and reading that his contract prohibited that.

I was hoping to see Hopper fight for a podium spot, but something about his races saw him fade around 2/3rds distance each time.  Still, not a bad showing for a wildcard this weekend, top Suzuki all around.  And the team sponsors must be ecstatic over the number of times the announcers said "Samsung."

Hopper got tons of air time just riding around in 5th place.   Lol  I was hoping he could land a podium but it wasn't to be.  He seems to be really rejuvenated and enjoying racing.  Would love to see him in WSBK full time next year on a competitive machine.
