Motorcycle air conditioning? I've seen it all. Is this for real? Last site update was early last year. I can't see how this idea would fail.

I agree that the idea is silly for this country, where the temps would only justify it's use for a short period of time in most years. Since the product is made in the middle east, where temps of 120°F aren't uncommon for a significant part of the year, it starts to make a little more sense.

It may be useless 11 months out of the year, but for that one month, I would make sweet love to that little box..

Maybe a overkill, but not a bad solution if it works. Long 3 hour ride in 100+F heat? Sounds good to me.

I would buy one of those in a heartbeat if I could. There are times when the temps here don't dip below 100 until 2am. Relying on sweat to cool me down is useful for about the first minute, until it all evaporates on the highway. Also, there's the charming aroma of
me
as I saunter into work.
I'm getting used to it, a little, but I'd prefer to be air conditioned. Especially when traffic grinds to a halt on I-15 when the inevitable tourist-didn't-understand-the-traffic-patterns 4-car rollover accident takes place each evening.

Plus - wouldn't a guy want a hose FOR the helmet? That's where I am sweating when its hot.

The Widder heated vest system works on the principle of keeping the core warm; maybe this cooling system, by keeping the core cool, would work in a similar manner? Sure, the extremities get uncomfortable, but this seems to be more about safety (avoiding heatstroke or in Widder's case hypothermia) than total comfort.

I don't know what country you live in, but here in Louisiana, I could get good use out of that thing at
least
8 months of the year!
