Received a letter recently and had mine in the shop to repair a poorly designed ground joint connector on the main wiring harness.

Yamaha either adds a sub lead wire, or replaces the entire harness if damage is found during inspection.

My dealer informed me that mine was the 4th bike they have repaired, and have not had to replace a harness as of yet. The bike was in the shop for 1 hour for the inspection and new sub lead installation.
