This is so easy to do that it hurts if Ducati won't.

Just pick a Multistrada or Hypermotard and get rid of everyting superfluous.

Make two models (Just like Voxan did with its own Scrambler):

- One for urban assaults with single sided swing arm, monobloc wheels, 17 inches front and rear and sticky road tyres.

- One "real" scrambler with double sided swing arm, spoked wheels (but tubeless please Ducati), 19 inches front and 17 inches rear, and road/dirt tyres.

Can't imagine such a bike? Don't despair. Here is one some Germans made earlier
