I don't think it was the fact that it was a courtesy bike. I think it was me. My triumph is considerably less powerful (yes, the big Suzy did put a grin on my face several times) but is a higher quality and better handling piece of kit. The Bandito was staring to rot in places and had less than 7K on it-and was new 10 months ago. Just my prejudice really. And an attempt to wind up Mr Black.

Would I buy one? Definitely not. Would I recommend one as a cheap but powerful bike? Yes.

Oh, and it was a GS...


Black likes his Bandit. He finds it quite comfortable, is confident in it's abilities and reliability.

Seeing as you live on an island and can basically only ride around in circles all day, of course you are comfortable with your Triumph and don't need to worry about riding any distance beyond the nearest pint.
