Honestly, I just wanted to post here so I get to see the new replies.   Last year's ESTN was all sorts of super delicious awesomeness, so I'm really excited for this year!!!  Bigok

My wife, Sandy, and I are maybes at this point. If we come it probably won't be until Saturday.

We have been to six STN Nationals, but only to the very first eastern meet, held in KY, many years ago--was called the Bourbon Trail Run.

Still planning on going.  Attended the MSTA Fly-By there a few weeks ago and can report that the roads are still lively and twistie Smile

Hoping to leave Friday and make my way over to the Millersburg area, take 60 down to Zanesville then 555 and 676 - time permitting.  PM me if you're headed that way.  Saturday I'm thinking about taking an MSTA route that I missed last time down - a shorter version of Garry's Ohio Sampler, with lunch at the Beallsville Diner.  Posted a route map under 'Roads, Routes, and Rides'.

All right, I'll volunteer my services to settle this debate on the palettes of Canadians, as they relate to beers.

I propose that the ST-N contingent bring to me multiple beer types to sample.  I will do so, and report my findings here.

All those interested in my credentials, PM please.

Still in.  Thinking of riding out Thursday.  Gives me time to ride a loop Friday & taste some of the local micro brews before the Canadians sample them into extinction trying to find one they like. LOL   Maybe they'll get lucky & find some imports.

Look at the beer bottles on the table.  If you don't know, those are called "stubbys".

I will always believe the stubby is the proper bottle shape for beer.   Smile

Whatever they're called, I just like them because I can pack more of them into my cooler than a a regular bottle.

Sorry to say that I won't make it.  I think I had a bad tuna sub from Subway this afternoon in Cumberland Falls.  Dry heaves, chills, and... um... other discomforts.  Microtel was nice enough to cancel my reservation on just a few hours notice.  I'm down in Winchester, KY.  I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Route 52 in northern TN is a great road but was heavily trafficked.  297 is scenic but low speed limits and enforced.

Hwys 89, 52, & 213 in KY are AMAZING.
