There's a kind of cult burger place right in Elbe, cant miss it. Big unpaved lot. It'll prob have a lot of bikes there, and at the railroad-car-restaurant across the street.
Nice pics. My house is just the other side of the snow capped ridge in the second one

Nice pics of the area.
Assuming they are recent, WOW... never seen that much snow at Tipsoo Lake in August! (mt rainier from chinook pass pic)
And if you didn't know already, that's the very beginning of the Puyallup river (first pic in Reply #3), flowing right out of the SW glacier of Mt. Rainier. We always stop and pitch every coin in our pockets over the railing into the River to appease the Great Skookumchuck, and protect riders from His evil happenings. (Hope you guys did that. If not, I'd get my ass back out there real soon...)

i need to get the ride report together there noda... those were just teasers...

here you go...
it was a glorious day squeezing the whitehead...
barneys food n fuel eatonville wa... scored top 3 burgers on king5 best of the west... but the food fell on hard times n moved into the gas station... went from hand formed to pucks... thats pucked up...
on the way to elbe wa were we pick up wa 708
in search of the whitehead
...
the nisqually river...
heading to paradise...
stevens pass...
still headed east from elbe...
mt adams in the distance...
same place but zoomed in like a moe...
box canyon...
mt rainier...
the chinook pass...
mt rainier from the chinook...
rolling up to sunrise...
mt adams again... wow was it clear...
heading back to wa 410 to renton...
thats all...
