Hi ya'all,
Just wanted to introduce myself after lurking about here for a several months. I have a 1990 FJ 1200, bought it a little over a year ago. I have been without a bike for the last 17 years, grew up riding from the age of 5.  Most of my riding right now is confined to weekends, but living on the southern edge of the Ozarks, I'm ok with that.  I'm just starting to make my way around in the hills, really waiting for it to cool down some. Can't hardly find anybody that wants to go riding in 100* weather! Headscratch Will be around here a little more..

Ozarkrider,
I will do that! Its good to hear from someone fairly local. I haven't ridden any up in your neck of the woods. I've been running up 16 W from Clinton and branching out from there.  I know that some guys from the Yamaha FJ Owners group are coming up here from Texas in early Oct. I believe they stay in Mt. View, I'm planning on meeting up with them if I can get away from work. Let me know if you are interested in meeting up with us.

That works for me. Mtn View is only about 50 curvy miles from my place. I've also got a complete shop set up i case anyone has a mechanical/tire issue. I've got a tire machine, balancer, and bike lift available.

I'm available just about every Saturday and most Sunday afternoons. There's a big gathering at the 3 Rivers Biker Church next Saturday. Rides planned, music, an air show, food, and giving away a Suzuki 750 Water Buffalo. You oughta c'mon on up and hang out a bit.

Jay,
I will make every effort to be there next Saturday. A brother of mine from church is wanting to get in a ride next Saturday, sounds like 3 Rivers will be a good destination. What you all have going on up there pushes all my buttons. I'm an airframe & powerplant mechanic that loves air shows, homebuilts and general aviation, I still have vivid memories of a purple Water Buffalo, among other 2 strokes, and well, food, that just goes without saying!  Bigok Hope to see you there,
