OK, pardon the quick interruption...  I lurk a lot and post little...

Looking at a 2008 C14 with 20k miles, silver, at a local dealer.  But, he wants $8,999.  Seems a little high.  But I don't really know.  Any help would be appreciated.  Whats a bike of that age and mileage really worth?

It worth what someone will pay for it.  That said if you spend some time looking around you can still find brand new leftover '09's for that at dealers.

The 9k is on the high end so I would negotiate the price or look for another deal.

A C14 2008 with bar risers, power commander, and two bros. pipe 5,800 miles sold for 7500 at my local bike shop.

When I had my 08 C14 with 10k miles, back in 2008, the dealer offered my $8000 because of the "high miles".

You can do much better than that price.  Trade in now is about $6000.  

I'd shop around.
