Hi gang.
As some of you know I'm heading to Glacier National Park to fulfill a promise I made to my Mom who passed away last year. I was planning on doing this ride on my own. But I've been thinking, it would be
nice to have a little company on this ride. So if there is any one that would like to tag along with me on this ride let me know.
Here are the details of the ride.
Dates, august 27th to September 5th. (ten days) (this year)
We will cover 300-400 or more miles a day.
No planed route, no advanced reservations. It will all be seat of the pants.
States we will visit CA, WA, OR, ID, WY, MT, NV. UT.

You gonna post as you go along?  If so, folks could pop in for a day ride as you're moving through...

North of West Glacier, just south of Canada is a town called Eureka, if you head west of there, you're along Koocanusa Lake, which has a delightful road on the WEST side,  at least 50 miles of fun, great views etc.  (I've been on it 2x this year, and can count the total number of cars I've seen on one hand).

I know you've been on it, but be sure to ride hwy 3 from Enterprise, OR to Lewiston, ID.  Great fun!!

If you skipped Lolo Pass you won't be disappointed.  Rob707 and I rode it a couple of weeks ago and I was less than impressed.  Lot's of hype for a truly mediocre road.  If someone tells you it's a great road, well, they need to get out more often...  The scenery was great though, and the river was the clearest I think I have ever seen.

Have a safe trip Jim, and feel welcome to stop by again if you're in the area.

Thanks for the heads up on the road Birdrunner. Endo You should know I've been on LO LO pass before Razz But it sure beats most of the other road options. You may see me at some point Endo Bigsmile
