It is not known whether Investindustrial, the primary investor (84.6%), will be putting their shares of Ducati on the Honk Kong stock market, or if they may just "float" parts of it. If they sell their shares, what would prevent an Indian or Chinese company from swooping in and buying a majority? If they float it, does that mean it would remain a holding of Investindustrial?
