Looking to get new ear phones to listen to music.
I have these two options. Which do you suggest?

I would highly recommend the 2nd one, the "S-Plug".
I've tried others (Ety's specifically), but nothing inserts completely in your ear like the S-Plug. How do they do it? Simple, the wire on the S-Plug is thick and durable, and is designed to be what you pull on to remove the plugs.
and, they work just as well (if not better) then my Hear-o ear plugs when simply deadening noise, no music at all.
Quick note: some of us have looser helmets then others. If you have a tight fitting helmet, then the S-Plug is almost a must... with the others the device sticks out of your ear and can easily catch on the padding when taking helmet on and off.
enjoy,

Of the 2 I would choose the S-plug as well. I use the Etymotic ER6i for a lot less money and like them a lot. I like the idea of two speakers in the S-plug but damn at almost $250 bucks that's expensive. I can buy Etymotics online for under $100 a set. I am a very happy etymotic customer.

Thanks for all your feedback. I think the “S-Plug” is the way to go.
The whole idea of an “S-Plug” sounds so simple, but the product sure is expensive.

Wanted to mention, mine are the blue ones, only about 150, so not too bad...
and the sound is awesome, really quite phenomenal.
But would strongly recommend you break them in. Connect to your mp3 player and put at about 1/2 to 3/4 volume and let them play for 5 or 6 or more hours, straight.
This "breaking in" is relevant for whatever option one chooses. It really helped with the bass on my s-plugs.

I have the s plugs also. About the third time I took them out (you have to pull them out by the cord) the cord came out of the plug. I sent them back and got a new pair without problem. The new ones have been great.

Those of you that own "s-plug", do you own a single or double speaker, and would you tell a difference in between?

Mine are the single (blue wire), have never owned any of them that were double.
But can tell you this... mine sound absolutely fantastic.
After the break in mentioned above,
I don't know how the sound could be much better... hell if it was much better it would have to compare to audiophile equipment.
