Nice Tire Pressure Gauge W/a Nice Feature

After years of using those nifty digital gauges that makes me do the tire pressure dance (check pressure, remove pressure gauge, pump, repeat....), I got this device that allows you to simultaneously check pressure AND pump at the same time!  It sure as hell is a time and effort saver.  

I hook up one end to the tire to read pressure, then hook the pump to the gauge, then pump away.  Accurate, convenient, tool.  Works better than those built-in gauges on those electric pumps.  I can also use it on my automobiles as well when using those awful (but powerful) gas station air pumps.

Does it read pressure as you're inflating, or only after you stop?

It reads it as you inflate so you know when to stop.

It also has a relief valve so you can deflate tire and read pressure at the same time.  

Oh and it does not need batteries!  

Note the heavier duty brass & stainless steel components when most little gauges are made of plastic.

I recently bought one of those gauges from Whitehorse Press too.
I was shocked that the tire pressure on all of my vehicles was 4-5 pounds over according to the new gauge, but correct according to the Made in England pencil gauge I've been using for years.
I hope the new gauge reads correctly.

I have a similar gauge but the clamp for the valve stem doesn't fit right. If it moves at all - it will start to leak.
It came in and I didn't get around to testing it for a few weeks - so I couldn't return it. Any ideas what I can do to make it clamp on tighter?

Word of warning to those who may not know: Release the pressure/needle (not sure how to call that?) before putting it away. The (ahem) first one I had I never bothered to reset and it failed. The store I had bought it from explained the fault and my 2nd one has never failed me

Anyone ever use the digital version?  The 0-100 psi dial seems to be harder to read with the small hash marks to get an accurate reading.

The technique I use is to hold the locking collar to open, then push the inflation valve into the tire's nipple.  You will hear a slight hiss but it should stop, then you well get a pressure reading.  Now, you can release the locking collar to keep the inflator in place.  There shouldn't be any air leaking unless you push the inflator to one side.  You need to push straight down into the nipple.  If you don't and you are at an angle you will have air leaking and you will hear a continued hissing sound.
