A few months ago I bought the LED light kit for my Givi E52 from a fellow COGger, it was new in the box although I didn't buy it from Admore.

This past weekend I finally got around to hooking it up and must have touched two wire together and didn't realize it.  After hooking everything up the right side was dimmer than the left, although when I put power straight from the battery to both LED's they were the same brightness.

I contacted Admore asking what I may be doing wrong and they told me I must have touched two wires together, even for a brief second.

Anyway the rep told me I could buy another power cable with the controller built in and they would refund my shipping and give me a 10% discount.  Last night I bought the part off their website, not expecting to get the discount since I didn't buy it directly from them.

I woke up this morning to have a credit to my paypal account for $11.90, sweeeet, didn't really expect that.

So a tip of the hat to Ardmore Lighting for great customer service.

Also, this light kit is bright, it adds running, brake and turn signals to the back of your Givi.  I will post up pics when I get the new wiring harness and get it installed, hopefully this coming weekend.

Yup. I have one on my E52 topcase as well. It makes the bike much more visible at intersections.

It shocked me how bright those lights were through the red lens.   Thumbsup

I hope it lasts longer than the E41 kit I purchased from them did.  Mine worked for all of a month out of the year I had it installed.

Sure, Admore was helpful with customer service on it, but I still had to pay an additional $50 for a new controller and had basically every part in the system replaced at least once.

Only to have the entire thing shit the bed a few weeks later.  I said screw it and pulled the entire kit out.

I would have gotten a better return on the $200 I spent in total just giving the money to a crack head or even better, throwing the cash out of a moving vehicle.

Good luck with it.  I have an E52 topcase as well but my money doesn't flow deep enough to make another potential mistake in buying something from them again.

I hope it does too.  I just got the replacement power cable in today, and on Wed I will start a 6 day 2500 mile trip, so here is hoping it last that long.

I will report back after the trip.
