What should I know about this little city?  I will be traveling there for work over the next year.  Any good food places?

Yes, I know it's smallish, but any advice would help Smile

Howdy, I live over in Longview (40 miles away).  The food is good.  The riding is good, especially just a couple hours ride north east in Arkansas.  There is a good group of people who hang out at TWTEX.COM.  You may want to ask there.  I am originally from your part of the country and to me this area is a much better place to be.

I have spent quite a lot of time in Tyler.  Depending on what you are looking for food wise - Mercados, Villa Montez, Julians, Bernards are good places to check out - these are some nicer local hot spots.

Tyler's a pretty good sized town and outside the influence of the Metromesses. S into the east TX woods is good riding. N into the NW quadrant of AR is excellent riding.
