I`ve just completed my Chicago -West Coast - Chicago annual trip , 6300 miles , 6500 total on BT23`s .
Handling overall is excellent , steering little slow but very neutral throughout entire lean angle , perfect for street riding on heavy ST machine . In this case cbrXX with triple cases, cooler , camping gear bag , probably 700 pounds ready to roll , plus rider of course .
Plentiful of grip dry or wet , although I`ve had no chance to test it in cold
and wet conditions .
Wear on the front is excellent , none of that trapezoid crap or cupping typically accuring on bike loaded heavily on the back . The profile of the tire is still nice and round . Fantastic , the best front ST tire I`ve used . Excellent feedback .
Rear
barely made it back to Chicago , steel cords showing .
When I pulled in the motel on Th. night 800 miles from home I refused to look at the rear so I could still sleep well .

All rear Michelins I`ve used in the past - it would go all the way back to 90x, 100x and all generations of Pilot Roads - easily handled those trips with couple K miles to spare .
I`ll not use this rear tire again .
Front bt 23 and rear pilot road something will be my next set .
