02 Bandit 12s Clutch problem
«

I have a 02 Bandit that has tipped over in the wind. (got to love Chicago!) Now the clutch doesn't work. Meaning that when the clutch lever is pulled in, the bike stays in gear. Is this common for a tipped over Bandit? Will purging the hydraulic fluid fix the problem??
Thanks
Sam

OK, It is not a sensor issue. When I put the bike in gear, squeeze the clutch lever and I can't roll the bike. So the clutch lever is NOT having any impact.
I am not sure what a tip over could do to break the clutch, but something happened. HELP?!

No doubt air entered the line from the top of the fluid resevoir. I would try bleeding the air out of the line....does the lever go all the way to the handlebar without disengaging the clutch?

What he said. Give it a good bleeding to remove the bad humors and see what happens.

Good news. You all were right and it just seems to have been air in the system. It works now.
Thanks guys!
