I wish I had the money: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Moto-Guzzi-Breva-1200-Sport-/260840917441?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item3cbb5489c1#ht_500wt_1182

It's at $6100 with 1 day left on it.

Question: Are the bars on a Sport 1200 as high as the Norge? I love the looks of the Sport and was thinking it might be cool to switch between the bikini fairing for around town riding and a tall fairing for long trips. Then (someday) I could have the utility of the Norge with the convenience and style of an exposed engine, and no plastic to fuss with.

Of course, I'd miss out on the Norge's great headlights.

The Sport has standard bars, not at all like the Norge.  I got a set of Renthalls on mine now as they are a little higher and back than standard (about 1" both ways).  I am getting a windshield for mine for winter riding as I love the fly screen in warm weather, but want more wind protection when cold.

Also, the Sport headlight really throws some light out there, one of the best I have seen on a bike.  Took some time to get it adjusted just right, but once there works well.

Looking at the pictures, doesn't appear to be the stock/standard mirrors.

Pretty good deal, though, isn't it?

I wish I could get it, but figured I'd pass the word along, in case somebody on the board can get it. (I have no relationship, association or familiarity with the seller.)

I wonder why the bike is for sale after only a few hundred miles. Good deal.

If it could be picked up for around $6500, with a warranty, that would be a great deal.  I have really enjoyed mine and feel the deal I got from MI was very good.  The feel of the bike still makes it my favorite in the garage.   Inlove

There is a 2008 black one in NH on eBay for nearly half of that.

Wonder what the reserve price is on the black one?  The red one doesn't say there is a reserve, IIRC.
