MotoGP data geeks: Check out Grand Prix Analytics

Trying to make sense of the whole MotoGP circus?
grandprixanalytics.com
allows you to compare all kinds of data from the season to support your scientific theories or wild ass guesses. Or maybe you don't spend enough time analyzing data and work and need something to remind you of work when away from your desk. This is just the ticket.
Suggested research:
1) V4 vs. I-4: the final verdict
2) Which bikes like tight tracks?
3) What impact has Simoncelli's antics (real or imagined) had on the season?
3) Who performs better over the course of a race?
4) "Seems like Ducati is having an off year?"
5) What, exactly, can a Czech industrialist buy for his son?
These answers and more can be found with some easy data analysis.

What doesn't work? You two are a tech support dream.
Click on a race. Click on "Rider Analysis". Click on a rider and select boxes on the right for data. Command click (Control click for PC weenies
) to select more than one rider. Its not very intuitive but, as far as I'm concerned, the interface is no worse than most things engineers come up with on their own.

I was annoyed that I couldn't scale the Y axis. For example, it would be nice to see the Y axis in tenths of a second when comparing lap times between riders over the course of the race.

Chris, IE6 is not supported.
Good point garry.
I find the lack of contact info for the author the biggest issue (Twitter feed doesn't count). Can't fix anything if you can tell him what is wrong. This was developed by gearheadstu at ADVRider.com. I don't know him or have any association. I just thought it was cool that he spent his time putting this together.
Here (
clicky
) is his ADV profile if anyone wants to discuss the site with him. (Anyone not banned on ADV)

I'm not banned form ADV or anywhere else. I was joking because of the of the active ban hammer over there.
You could try another browser on the off chance there is standards issue with IE. (snicker)

The other browsers have a bunch of security holes. Why would I run them?

I can see the logic. Make a browser that won't work with any websites thus discouraging people from using it. End result is extremely low number of security issues. Brilliant.
