I was forced to sit out Hurricane Irene while stuck overseas so what better way to access some damage than to romp through the woods on a 33hp overweight dirtstreet bike?
What a disappointment.

Sure, there were a few down trees:

Not nearly the damage inflicted in '86 by Gloria. I was hoping to see trees stripped clean like toothpicks but frankly, we've had thunderstorms that did more damage to the woods.
Fear not, as I had to equalize the fact that I now ride with uncrashable knobbies, I jumped the battery just enough to get the motor to fire and headed off knowing if I stalled or crashed, I would get stuck.I didn't crash but did manage to stall the thing. Unfortunately, it was at the top of a small hill so I just rolled down and popped the clutch.
Sorry.

I did have one problem on a trail that is pretty rough. I found it totally blocked at the top.

Somehow, I managed to do this. No , it's not staged.

I picked up a little debris in the undercarriage as well.
