I have both the wr250x and the drz400sm....while the drz is technically antiquated being a carb bike and only a 5 speed vs the fi and 6 speed 250x....I enjoy the extra power of the drz....

get yourself a supermoto drz....you wont believe how much fun you  can have below 70 mph....

I like the Monster.  It looks like a lot of fun around town or for a short haul.

You have a street bike, so get the dirty bike.

Yeah--I recently picked up a little dual-sport (from a forum member...) and, while it's gutless (it's a little dual-sport), the first time I ventured up a dirt road into the hills around my home, it was just so much fun!  It opens up a whole new world (plus, for me, there's a real nostalgic connection, as I used to ride bikes like this when I was younger).

Also, dual-sports make great (short distance, urban) commuters.  Curb?  What curb? Wink

I love exploring on the DRz ... not much for traveling, but great for gravel/dirt roads.
plus its fun to ride a slow bike fast.   Lol
