Yes, wife owned a '07 Xcountry for 1.5 years.  

If this thing is close in weight to a V-strom, then it'll weigh 100 lbs more than a Xcountry.  So not really in the same class.

It would make sense to offer this gussied up version in continental Europe where the Strom is popular.  Not so much in the US.  


Why not? They sell a lot of Stroms here in U.S., too.

They would sell a TON of these bikes here I think. Look at the popularity of "adventure" bikes right now.  Thumbsup

What are the sales figures for Stroms in the US?  I thought they weren't very good.  Headscratch  They tend to sit in showrooms around here.

I like it too (but would also 86 the show-bake graffix) . . . . though I agree they'd likely sell more in Europe than here.
