It further improves handling, if by handling you mean going straight.

To extend the love for the new GW's, here are some pics of my dad's from a trip we did this summer.  Nevermind the Triumph that is in the way on some of the pics.

It's actually not too hideous in white. I still don't get the stupid silver panels.

I will guarantee you he was more comfy on that big Wing than you on the Strip.

I love the white Wing.

I tell you what I've never ridden one but I sat on an '07, that thing felt lighter and more balanced than my C10 anyday. I'm sure it's just the low C O G.
I could flatfoot that bike no problem with a little bend in my knees to boot.

Damn pretty bike, just too many fucking gizmos and buttons.

While the Wing is more PLUSH generally - like a mobile sofa - it has annoying wind buffeting to me, regardless of screen height.  And it generally takes more effort to manhandle around at low speeds (thank god for the electric reverse).  Plus while it's easy to corner, it's also quick to drag parts.

Does all that weight and bike limitations make ME more comfortable riding it - NO.   Riding his Wings drives me batty after awhile.  I was more comfortable on my Striple, and he was more comfortable on his Wing - thank you very much!

You guys and your how many angels on a pinhead tripe. That woman rode circles around the lot of you while you are stuck head-down posting on the internet. Riding in the Smokies then flat-hatting to CA in 3 days. What Starbucks did you ride to that week?

The Q you ask reveals your ignorance of both religion, history, literature, and Jamie Elvidge. I spoke to her on May 21 this year at the Exxon at the TN end of the Cherohala. She was filling up the GW and the GTL was at the other pump. They were finishing up the comparison of the two bikes and said might be surprised when I read it. The next day she lit out for CA to return home. During that time you banged out 13 posts on this forum and did precious little riding.

Does that clear things up for you? You will have to Google the how many angels on a pinhead thing for yourself.

Yo Big D. Central Cali? Where abouts? I was stationed at Vandyland and lived in both Lompoc and Santa Maria.

Some really fantastic riding out there. I miss the vineyards, canyon roads and especially the stretch between Lompoc and Santa Barbara behind the mountains
down through the Santa Ynez valley.

...Jamie Elvidge. I spoke to her on May 21

You shoulda asked her how they got the Wing to break the 1/4 mile at 120mph.

And if she's still bitter at bar sluts (her words) throwing themselves at her ex.
Man that dood was great in Rip Tide...
