According to Barry Coleman's biography, "Kenny Roberts", Kenny asked the AMA to ban the TZ750 flat tracker because soon others would learn to ride them and it would kill the spectacle of flat track racing in America. It would be Kenny and Gary Scott and maybe a few others followed by Harley back markers and that would be the death of the sport.
