Waiting for stop watch rant from the carbs and reed valve crowd.

Qualifying from last year had Nicky 4th, Spies 5th and Stoner on pole. This was the track where Ducati got their mojo back and Stoner started kicking ass again.

You think Stoner is that good? Or is the bike this year that bad?....All I can say is WOW...this season has been a utter embarrassment for Ducati.......Maybe Nick can hold it together for a decent finish.....Spies will be there if he does not play mr nice guy at the start and watch everybody pull away thinking he can come back later..

A little of columnA, a little of column B. No question Stoner is the fastest rider, he may also have matured into the best rider in the last few years. Whether or not the Ducati is "bad" is beyond me. There are so many smart talented people working in MotoGP that I hate to call anyone bad. There could be all kinds of reasons for their results. Its way beyond a low level club racer like me.

I wish to hell we could see all the riders on equal, equally unfamiliar equipment.  Something like the Boxer Cup.  I think Stoner would still be top dog; he really is that good.  But I think we'd have some suprises in the finishing order.

Wishing aside, I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

Now if only Rossi was starting from pit lane on a competitive bike (HONDA) and was leading the championship.

THAT would be a sight to see, him scything through the field!!!

I got a load of laundry done and brewed a cup of coffee...

None the less I enjoy the idea of the best riders on the best bikes in the world. I await the format for next year....

In the mean time you may as well turn the camera's onto the riders significant others, just to keep up interest.

What a boring ass race competition wise anyhow....Some nice paint trading back in the pack with.some spectacular get-offs EEK!....Spies finally started great but fell pray to the hondas Rolleyes. Rossi still needs a new bike. ...I think Stoner is that good Thumbsup....Would love to see them on equal bikes though, thats why Moto2 is so exciting....

Boring race indeed, some good passing but for the most part the usual suspects. As far as Rossi vs Stoner on same bike, well look what Stoner was able to accomplish on a Ducati at times, he's that good

Moto2 race was fantastic. That series has been incredible so far.  Usually 5 or 6 guys competing for the top spots with lots of passing going on.

I wish we had seen that too. Nicky looked aggressive today.

Things I agree with:
   1. Tho' there were some interesting moments, that was pretty much a snoozefest.
   2. Stoner is that good.

I was cooking dinner and watching the MotoGP race, was kinda interesting.  Nice dicing between Rossi, Crutchlow, and Aoyama as well as the scrap between Hayden, Bautista, and Barbera.  I also really want to know if Hayden pulled a "backyard move" on Barbera.

Moto2 was fantastic, til Iannone blew just one l'il corner, fell back too far to challenge, and then it was just Marquez ticking away perfect laps like clockwork.  For a second I got confused, seeing Repsol colors and perfect form and a 10-second lead... I thought I was watching the MotoGP race til i remembered Repsol Honda changed their livery for this race  Razz.  Still a really great first half of the race.  Bradl... he looks like he's given up.  He's talented, but it seems like he doesn't have the fight in him.  Doesn't bode well for his future if he can't bounce back from this sort of thing.  He's still technically the championship leader, but this was the end of it.  He only has 6 points over Marquez, and Marquez is unstoppable.

Nico Terol taking the win in 125's was no surprise, but how Zarco held 2nd was.  I'm surprised he didn't crap his pants watching Faubel overtake him before the last corner, then crash out right across his front wheel.  What is this, the fifth 2nd place for Zarco?  At least he didn't pull a Misano.  Maybe he'll win some races on Moto3 bikes after Terol graduates to Moto2.

After watching Moto2 race Motogp seems even more boring.
Still thinking Márquez is doing an awesome end of season.
The big different bewteen him and Bradl is the champion
mentality.

Here there is a debate whether or not Márquez should go to
Motogp  next year. I think he is young an one year more learning
in moto2 is Ok. Other people think he can't learn more in Moto2

This time no backyard movement, Barbera went wide in
a turn and Nick took advantage of it

I can think of a few people who hope he moves on to MotoGP.   Lol  Names like Simon, Smith, Corsi, Espargaro, etc.

Moto2 was another fun race. The GP just gets hard to watch race after race when the only real racing is for 6-7-8 and just as it's at the peak of excitement (last lap or two) the shot is of Stoner riding the last laps all by his lonesome all the way to the finish. Wait? Something exciting may have happened in the dicing for position further back? Oh well.

At least if it's a boring stretch in WSBK the director manages several cut-away shots of Melandri's girlfriend.  EEK! As tall as she is and as short as he is I imagine that his head slots in right about...there.

The Moto 2 race was fantastic, Marquez is doing the business and I always enjoy watching Ianonne mix things up at the front  Thumbsup.

The GP was not the most interesting race, but I really enjoyed one feature of SpeedTV's HD coverage.  Those super slow motion shots were awsome.  I was mezmorized by the deflection of the tire and all of the small fast movements you usually can't perceive in the standard footage.  I'd like to have a few minutes of those on a loop as a screensaver.

The Eurosport broadcast I watched had some super slo-mo's too.  Lovely footage.  Inlove

I am so glad that I watched the MotoGP race first because after just watching the Moto2 battle royale, I don't think I would have even watched the entire MotoGP race if I was watching it 2nd.

Just watched the Moto2 race. You guys aren't kidding. That was intense. Well, the first 2/3 was intense at the front. That trailing pack with Bradl was intense at the end. Great race!

Under the new rules, do MotoGP rookies still have to spend at least a year with a satellite team? If yes, I'd want to get Marquez up there sooner rather than later. I've read that he wants to spend another year in Moto2, but maybe that's teamspeak. Honda seems to have an oversupply of riders at the moment.

I've started watching them the other way round, that way MotoGP isn't as big a let-down as after Moto2,
