Has anybody been over 191 yet this year?  I was thinking about going for a long all day ride out and back 191 from Flag tomorrow.  Its been pretty warm in AZ lately so I don't expect snow, but what about sand/cinders?

Let us know.  I'll be there at the end of the month.  Did you call 928-333-3412?

Well I never made it out of my garage.  I dropped my bike in the garage last night and broke my clutch lever, left-side plastic and tail piece.  The obscenities flowed loud and free for a good 15 or 20 minutes; I was actually a little horse this morning.  The new Sprints fare poorly in a tip over; I will have frame sliders soon!

Surprisingly clean from Clifton/Morenci up to about mile 25 for practically running through an active strip mine.  About mille 25 to mile 30 there was gravel all the way across the road in every switchback.  From mile 30 to maybe mile 50 there was gravel or dirt here and there but not bad at all.  Mile 50 up to Hannagan Meadow and beyond was pretty clean.  Little patches of snow off the road in the shade around Hannagan Meadow.  A little damp in the shade on the road around Hannagan Meadow.  We got a little rain (~ 10 minutes?) just past Hannagan Meadow.

We passed one Harley (husband/wife from Minnesota out sampling Arizona roads) heading south to north.  That was it.  From Clifton to Hannegan Meadow, 1 bike!

One of the best roads I've ever ridden.  It's too bad there is a lot of droning and a lot of traffic between LA and 191.  You guys are lucky to have that out there.

78 to the NM state line was clean.
