Well I could not help myself. I had to go out and test my new suspension.

  http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee103/turbospence/IMG_0718.jpg

   I was alright with this

 http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee103/turbospence/IMG_0715.jpg

But then it started to snow flurry

 http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee103/turbospence/IMG_0712.jpg

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee103/turbospence/IMG_0713.jpg

At the top of this hill on 554 the roads were more white then um  road colored.

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee103/turbospence/IMG_0711.jpg

so I did get a 50 mile ride in but more testing will need to be done.  Wink

In 2011 I rode 11501 miles and 7527 of those were on the Tiger.  My wife Rochele rode around 5700 miles also.

   http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee103/turbospence/IMG_0787.jpg

And the 2012 riding season starts today with a 75 mile outing. Wink

felt so good to get out today. I think it made it into the 50s for a couple hours and after dark the moon and stars were out.

Another great January ride this afternoon and evening. Left Williamsport area and did some 44 up to little pine state park across to 287 n to 414 over to 14 and 15 for

a little over 160 mile ride with a couple friends.

a short stop at Little Pine State Park

as sooon as we got on 414 we caught a gas company caravan and had to follow them to 15, the jobs are nice

but they sure are messing up the riding around here.  Roads were still in better shap then I expected for as far

north as we were. 414 between 15 and 14 had the most cinders on. About dark we went by a bank that said it was still

53 out if it was right.  Thumbsup

Spence, most of your pics are familiar to me. Especially the Sullivan County (we have a house on 87 at the East end of Hillsgrove before you cross over the steel bridge. I'm originally from Mt. Carmel so I'm very familiar with 125 from Shamokin to Ravine. Used to ride all of those rodes from Ashland thru Lavelle, Weishample, Valley View (pronounced Walley Woo) Higgins, thru Cower Tity....er Tower City, and so forth.

Have done the Geisinger Childrens Miracle Mile Tour every year since I'm 18.

Love the pics! Can't believe I never saw this thread until now. I gotta stop in Region VI forum more often.

Bradleyras. Thanks for jumping in. We use 87 a lot. Trips to worlds end are a go to ride when we don't know what else to do. If you find yourself around Williamsport starbucks on a Saturday night stop in and say hi. We kinda made that the office last week there was 11 of us. Also if your that local we post up on pasportbikes.com with plans and rides also.my wides family live in the heggins area so she is real familiar with all those towns.lol

Saturday night we had a good group of friends out for our starbucks Saturday night bike hang out. There was 16 of us. They need more seating. Can't wait till it gets a little wamer and we can use the outdoor seating again.
Out for a little 50 mile ride today before another work week starts.

Hey Spence,

Thanks for posting the pics. I vacationed the other year up there in Mansfield and that coffee place was right around the corner. That was a cool place to get some good food and drink. Thanks again for the post, it brought back memories,  Smile

That was a neat little place. I don't know what got into me but I have a list and am planning on discovering some more different places around here that I never tried before. I guess I'm tired of seeing the same 10 chain places off every exit in the truck. lol
