garry is our HERO RIDE LEADER Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup

The Marietta ESTN is the second time BigBird and the 2 Bitches have been fortunate enough to get to follow garry on a nice twistie ride (first one was the Spring Ride at Berkly Springs) and this one was EVEN BETTER than the first Smile

Not only were the roads SUPER (see Scott's post) but the company was great and the PACE WAS PERFECT for the BigBird crew.  Bigsmile  Bigsmile  Bigsmile   Quick enough to be FUN but still safe and relaxing Smile     GAIL didn't even fall asleep a singe time Lol  and Bandit had her furry little head out all day just enjoying the nice pace on the endless twisties Thumbsup

This garry fellow knows how to lay out a ride and how to LEAD it.  We were on the Super Sampler on Saturday and then garry led us and Scott back to Morgantown on Sunday AND we got to do all those great Satruday PM twisties in the other direction on Sunday AM Smile

Thanks for the kudos Sam, but I just pick out a route I want to ride and invite a few like-minded riders to join me. I suspect any number of STN members would lead the same sort of ride. As with any group ride, you just need to hook up with people that enjoy the same type of ride, be it balls out knee dragging, brisk/sporty or smell the roses. I'm glad you and two bitches had a good time  Lol You're always welcome to join me  Thumbsup

Did you guys run into a problem on Sunday. After you passed me on SR26, I was a little confused to see you coming back the other way a few minutes later.

Didn't seem to be any obvious problems, so I didn't stop (I wouldn't be of any help anyway...), but I was a little concerned something had happened.

I ended up taking 26 to 78. Rode 78 over to Nelsonville and then meandered around the hocking hills area for a couple hours before heading home.

My GPS said I had 5+ miles to go before the next turn, so I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the screen/map. Turns out I needed to make a right onto Archers Fork Rd, which runs straight off the corner just past the one lane road blockage. Sigh. Sometimes Garmin software is annoying... So we turned around as soon as the GPS said I was off route and got on the desired road.
