We are really excited to introduce our latest two piece suit. I think this deserves its own discussion thread separate from the one-piece thread

Here are the highlights of the suit:

• Shell is made entirely from original 500D Cordura

There are many small touches to this outfit that will only become apparent once you put some miles on the suit. Take the pants cuffs as an example. On the inside edge, there is a zippered gusset which allows your to adjust the fit of the cuff to fit both inside and outside a boot
On the outside edge, there is a zipper that opens up the pants to allow easy on/off for tall boots.

That is a great looking suit.  I see from the website that you offer different color combinations.

Is this suit waterproof itself, or would I need a waterproof liner to go under the suit?

As a side note, I was at a gas station a few weeks ago and saw a young guy on a Ninja 250 with a one piece suit on and thought the suit looked nice.  I asked him what brand it was and he told me a Teiz.  I thought it was a great looking one piece and was surprised to see someone young riding a sport bike with any kind of gear on.  He said he really liked the suit and had great airflow.

you can choose your own color scheme when ordering so there are quite a few possibilties.
with regards to waterproofing - the suit can be ordered with a zip in liner. however read my article here:

we recommend getting a nice rain suit to wear on top of the suit.

thats me taking photos of myself - so the results aren't the best - with the one of the pants cuff caught somewhere in the boot -

Took a look at the website: custom sizes are available  
 
After adding a waterproof and warm liner it starts to get spendy though: $949.  Still, looks like a nice suit with good armor.
Description is a little vague though: what temperature range can this suit be used in?  If it's straight 500D Cordura with SuperFabric, there can't be that much ventilation?  Would need to be able to handle muggy southern summers.

Not to bash the original poster but...

I bought a pair of Timiteo pants last August. Along with 2 leather jackets on closeout.  I was informed that the jackets were no longer available.  Fine.  The original shipment took 4 months to arrive. Only to find that extra couple of inches I wanted on the inseam was already 'added' to the pants with no mention of it on the website. Teiz was good about it and replaced them no charge with a regular inseam. Of course, I had to pay the shipping. So I'm all happy. Nearly 4 months later my replacements showed up. Good thing it was the depths of hell we call winter up here.

New pants fit me perfectly.

First ride with just the rain liners in revealed a problem. The lining in them (is their even a lining in them?) has them absolutely PASTED to you from sweat. I've had a bunch of different gear with rain liners and never had this problem. Effectively useless. Though I did stay dry (well, except from the sweat).

I got lots of compliments on the gear. So here it is, the end of the season and inspection of the pants revealed they are frayed badly (in 28Km! and the VAST majority of that was just sitting there on the hwy, not stop and go type stuff.) and one the of seams has burst above the right side pocket and I have VERY serious doubts about their crash worthiness, especially in the seat area where it is relatively thin material with no covering. It can't be much better than a thin pair of jeans in that area.

I've decided I'm not going to pursue getting them repaired through Teiz. I'll take them to a local tailor and see what they can do.  I'll take my lumps on the $200+ (+ extra shipping) that the cost me. I've got a pair of 4yr old Tourmaster Calibers that I've put throught the ringer and back and they're still good to go.  Despite an apparent number of really happy people with their gear, I'm not among them.

The new gear sounds great, looks well thought out, but I won't be spending anymore money through Teiz.
