Any advice, experiences or knowledge appreciated....

Looking at two, kinda opposite ends of price range.  Don't want too cheap, but not most expensive.  Will have to try or take chance on fit but the two brands I've narrowed to seems quite universally good in that dept....

Why not just measure her head circumference and order the correct size? Most helmet makers have sizing guides.

The best helmet is the one that fits her head/head shape right. Go to a store with a good selection and have her try on the Shoei Qwest and Scorpio EXO 400. Overall my opinion of Shoei is better than Scorpion, but I'd rather have a Scorpion that fits well over a Shoei that does not.

DON'T take a chance on fit. Try them on before you buy. Shoei is my choice. But Scorpion makes good stuff from what I hear.

the only thing that mkaes most lids "womens' " are the graphics . . . few companies have female-specific shells and fittings . . .Schuberth is the only on I know of off the top of my head . . . .. they are great helmets, but make those you posted look like bargains, in terms of price.

I'll echo the posts above -- fit is all the matters -- take her head to the store and try some on.

Went to store and we picked up cl16 no graphic black.   Snell and dot.  Seems like pretty darn good value.  Thanks!
