Quick Noobie Question about the Forum
«
on:
September 22, 2011, 10:33:07 AM »
Hey Ya'll. Just a quick question. I was wondering if the site had a classified, for sale, want to buy section. I'm not just interested in joining the site, selling my bike, and never posting again. I just want to oogle/dream/fantasize about buying something a little more powerful than my gs 500. Its a great bike, but a guy can hope for more, right?

Okay, cool. So I'm probably just a bit blind, but where is the classifieds page? I can't find it on the home screen.

I think it was something the forum admin did a little while ago. They made some forum pages accessible only after you'd posted a certain number of times. Its to keep the forum from becoming another version of craigslist.

And "oogling" is expressly forbidden till you have 1000 posts. "Ogling" is fine.

You've got it. Hell, I'm a mod and I'm not even sure what the number is. Ten, I think?
Anyway, welcome! And don't put up with too much shite from some of these guys. They're nothing but pot-stirrers

Thanks for the welcome. Apparently spelling does count, so I'll have to type a bit more carefully.
