Went to their Oktoberfest and got this, and yes it was that good. Best German food in Ct. hands down and a great beer selection to boot, Das Boot that is.
Nice!! I love authentic German food. A traditional Oktoberfest meal right there.
That said, I like most anything German, as I am a good part German.
In Honesdale, PA there's a good authentic German resteraunt, deli, butchershop, bakery, and imported specialty foods + stuff.
The Alpine on RT6 heading east just coming out of town. The meat shop there is incredible and is well worth the trip.
The owners are right out of the homeland.
