From McElhattan there is a road-- Pine Mountain Road, I think-- that connects to Pa Rte. 880.

Is that road paved all the way through? Is the route through well marked? Is it worth riding or is taking PA 150 to Pa 880 generally a better idea?

If you have first hand knowledge, please post.

Thanks.

Most roads like that are kind of paved until you get to the section going through the forest.  They tend to turn to gravel them. How soon do you need to know for sure?  I could check it out in person if you like.

No hurry. I've taken my ride and decided not to try taking the road. But, if you feel like checking sometime...    Thumbsup

Both ends are paved, and I'm guessing it is paved through because there is a sign at the south end pointing north, with the miles to McElhattan.

used to visit the Woolrich store when I was a student at LHU. I rode an 86 XT350 back then so I forget road surface details.
