Just registered my Triumph 2 weeks ago from out of state.  You have to take the vehicle and they will look it over verifying VIN and engine number.  Find the engine number in advance.  Mine was in a very tough spot to read (dirty).  Most bikes are easy to find, but I recommend you double check first, and clean if necessary.

This.

Good job on making an appointment. I wish more states would allow this  Sad

Not horrible.

Still worth it to go to AAA office rather than the clueless DMV.

You can say that again.....

You do realize that one of those boxes you checked while registering at DMV made you and T Democrats, don't you?

OH HELL YES!

Traffic was normally bad on the way home tonight and I go to lane split for the first time.

Whoot Whoot.

It was like having sex without a condom for the first time.  You though you were having fun until you did it the way God intended!

HOV - I checked those boxes very carefully.

They can take all my money and all my rights - even force me to use 3 different trash cans placed 3 feet apart evenly at the curb -but they can never make me vote for this voluntarily - and I can choose to be part of the solution.

I walked out with a plate and reg stickers.

This was an extremely helpful answer - I would never have brought the bike nor known where the engine number was.  Many thanks to nevin, kevins and the other posters - you saved me another trip and I was able to leave with all tasks completed.
