Here are a few pics from Hunter Mt. I was able to demo ride a GS R1200... nice bike, that boxer engine kick takes a little getting use to.

The sky was gray, but held off for the most part. Sunday was a much better day, started with rain then the sun came out around noon.

The demo ride was nice, but I don't like the way the boxer engine kicks to the right whenever you shift. I think I'll stick with the smooth Connie for now... maybe a KLR or Weestrom for a second bike sometime next year.

Hmm interesting. I didn't know the Boxer did that. I've never ridden a Boxer flat twin.
I'd be all about a C14 but the roads up here are really going to pot, and I'm thinking a big dual sport for the next horse.
Plus the thing eat's tires like Cheerios from what I understand. Other than that, I think the C14 is a hell of a bike.
My Golden Pig is still doing great. I get on it everyday and sometimes tell myself, you don't need a new bike.
