Where would you go?  Jerez and Estoril MotoGP's in early May?  Or Misano to Aragon in mid September?  Trying to decide which ones to catch.  Probability of good weather is the biggest deciding factor, but so is the area we'd ride through and the trip itself.
Any thoughts?  Who's been there before?

Jerez and Estoril. Just because the Jerez round is full of crazy Spaniards and Estoril is near the ocean. Misano is miserably hot and I've heard that Aragon isn't good for spectating.

Given the processional nature of recent GPs, don't rule out WSBK rounds  Bigsmile

Absolutely.  We are going to see if we can get 3+ weeks in Europe and catch at least 2 races.  WSBK is a definite if the dates fit.

If you're in Spain check out if you can catch their local National series races. See the future Pedrosa, or maybe a Pons, or even a Mamola (his kids race in Spanish races).

Monza WSBK wuz in September this year. Dunno if it's held at the same time every year.

September is a great time as the weather has begun to cool off a bit and the kids are back in school, so places are less crowded.

Lake Como will score you points with the spousal unit and is only a short hop from Monza. The lakes aren't an ideal riding spot as the roads are tight and congested, but it's a great place for a romantic getaway. Darth Vader proposed to Queen La Dee Dah on Lake Como  Bigsmile

 Lol

As far as the choice, Jerez and Estoril, without a doubt! I've been yearning to go to Spain, for a while now. Portugal would be great too.
