Italians think water cooling betrays a lack of virility.

I would wear tight pants, an unbuttoned silk shirt, and lots of gold to own that thing.

Now there is a picture for ya!

Some factories? Do any of you guys ever bother to read before firing off wild opinions? It's a Stelvio, gussied up by some custom speed shop. It has zippy to do with the Guzzi factory.

I would put Japan's custom bike scene up against anyone's...

You have me on that one, I looked at the picture and didn't read the link. Mea Culpa! I stand behind the core premise of my posting however, the European factories have been the most daring and innovative of both implementation and/or design of truly new industry wide engineering OR a break from their own traditions to change the face and opportunities for the street rider. Europeans innovate, Japanese refine. Go to any established European vs Japanese dealer, sample and evaluate their offerings. I'm not saying you can't get a great bike at either shop, just that the culture and attitude and offering from each is vastly different. I'm not talking custom shops and that's where I made my oversight which was well noted.

Tre cool.  I had no idea someone out there made a watercooled guzzi motor.  Why doesn't Guzzi?   Headscratch

While that bike looks awesome, a 500 pound bike will never be a "supermoto".

It will only feel heavy if you get it sideways.  Lol

That looks nice. Not sure about the race rain tires though. Not gonna last very long.

On a Motard-Y bike, I think I'd try a Pirelli Scorpion Sync or Dunlop D616.....

Yeah, those tires wouldn't last long at all but you will have many smiles though!
