I tried one on once and it was okay.  Not as nice as the Nolan N90.

Bell must be getting ready to release a new flip up as these prices keep dropping   EEK!

Performance Cycle here in Denver stopped carrying them due to build quality issues. When I tried one on it felt cheap, and the fit and finish was pretty bad. I'll wait for gen2 and see if they have the bugs worked out.

I was hoping this helmet was better as I'm about ready to replace my HJC symax II that I'm not impressed with. Will be eagerly waiting for the second gen.

I went into a local dealer specifically to try the revolver. Theirs a reason their cheap (now), you can't wear glasses with them. Which I would think would be the prime market for them. The notch in the foam liner is WAY up above the temples. No way your gonna wear glasses with that helmet.

I ended up trying an RS1. Wow. I miss the flip down visor, but the comfort more than makes up for it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, for me, it was like putting my entire head in a pussy.

I got one last week and took it on a 400 mile trip last weekend. Not a fan. The fit is fine although the chin to chin bar clearance is tight. I wore both my glasses and my sunglasses with the helmet and had not issues with either. I was able to put the helmet on with the chin bar raised without first removing my glasses first.

It is loud, ridiculously loud. Even with earplugs in the wind pressure and rumble of air in the helmet was nearly too much. Without earplugs forget it, I would not make it 10 miles at anything over 50 miles an hour. The helmet never felt good in the wind. I felt like I had far more turbulence and buffeting around the helmet than compared to the HJC full face it replaced. It was loud enough even with earplugs my in helmet communications system was completely useless.

I moved things around and held my hand at various points and tried to cover openings. Most if not all of the really bad noise is coming from either the chin area under the helmet or the side at the hinge just forward of the ears. That seems to be the reason the noise pressure is just too much to take.

Overall quality seemed good for the most part. Everything seemed tight and functioned well. The visor and the internal sun shield all had decent clarity and opened/closed securely and positively. The modular feature was outstanding and I enjoyed being able to communicate with a riding partner at stop lights easily about fuel stops and food plans. My only other minor complaint was that the chin strap is a bit far back such that the strap when secured is really more just forward of my adams apple rather than under the chin.

On a scale of 1 to 10. 10 being outstanding, I would rate it:

Fit - 7
Finish - 8
Sound - 3
Comfort - 6
Materials - 7
Overall design - 6
Function of features - 7
