I was there on Saturday... They suck. I'll be purchasing one from the Canton dealer at this point. Cheers

About three miles from my place -- and they've been very helpful on a number occasions, most recently on short notice for Blue.

Interesting. That hasn't happened to me there before- they are usually ready and willing to send you off on a bike. Odd.

Well, Blane wasn't there so that might've had something to do w/ it... If they don't have one in Canton, I'll call him & set up an appointment when I can deal directly w/ him.

I actually sent them an email with a link to the post. They should know when they screw up.

Blane emailed me himself. He said he'd love to talk to you about your experience, and he was gone at a wedding. He thought they were a bit short staffed that day, and it surprised him this happened.

I would have gotten the name of the person I spoke with on the phone and let them know my name and that I would be heading that way.

I didn't ask to see said person. I thought any salesperson there would've been interested in selling a new bike or at least tried. If a customer walks into our showroom you better believe someone will help them whether they've already spoken to someone or not. If a customer has to ask for help, then whoever is in the shop/showroom that day will be terminated. Cheers

It can get a lot worse.
When I was shopping for my '98 K1200RS, I visited various dealerships to look at various bikes. I visited one to investigate the possibility of buying an ST1100. I was ignored for the first fifteen or so minutes. I finally approached a salesman. He diffidently looked up info for me, then told me the list price and that they do not stock them. He then told me that he doesn't like motorcycles(!).
Needless to say, that dealership did not get my business, even though it is the closest dealership to where I live.
A friend of mine had even worse treatment from them.
