Stock Triumph handguards but they are good sized. No problems with getting my big mitts in winter gloves behind them!

3000Lm each at 30w using Quad CREE XML T6 LEDs - 6000 Lm total - more output than 3 sets of Denali's D2's

Also ordered the controller below for them. Can brighten/dim by remote control key fob, and also has a highbeam full power trigger wire. So I can run them at 30-40% in traffic with the low beams, and full power when the highs go on

Will be mounting up on the mirror mounts with a simple elbow bracket for cooking deer

I've been running the TT Denali LED's on a Triumph Tiger for over a year now (1050 Tigers have REALLY bad stock lighting)...

- Great light, 900 lumens from each LED is about what a 55w halogen headlight puts out for only 10w of power (each)
- I'm running the "fog" instead of the "driving" difuser lens - provides gread illumination in a down-road range comperable to low beams but much wider so corners are not as dark
- The LED is a brilliant white light that also helps me to be more visable day or night

Great add, zero problems, still expensive but I'd do it again.

Got my 3000Lm LED floods and controller  

The lights came pretty quick from China surprisingly. 24x7diy's was good and fast getting them out and updating the order etc. Will get some pics/review posted once I get the harness made and get them mounted. I suck at photography, but hopefully will be able to get some good pics for comparison versus my HID low/high beams.

Some teasers of the simple mountings - ignore the pile of garbage in the garage  





Just used 2 stainless corner brackets to mount to the mirror bolts. Will be slitting the rubber covers so the mounts come through and look clean.

Tomorrow or Thursday will start pulling the paneling/tank off and routing the wires, relay and remote LED controller. Relay will switch on w/ ignition to power everything up. Then the controller will set the normal level and on/off via remote control RF switch (will velcro to my controls) - there is also a high beam bypass on the controller, that will jump them to max output when the highs go on

Tested the lights today direct from the battery. WOW - these are not your Grandpa's LEDs. In the garage I could not even notice the HID high beams come on over the light of the dual 3000Lm LED's. Just waiting on a refreshment order of posi-locks, posi-twists and posi-taps to arrive and I will get the wiring all done - then get some shots outside to post.

Well I tried to get some shots outside at night, but alas I suck with photography. And I could not figure how to turn the flash off on my g/f's camera, so that skewed the pics a bit. Also, it was not very dark out as there was a near full moon and other lights on the street. But these do show a comparison to how bright these are compared to even the HID bulbs in the stock housing.

The fence, tree and building in the distance are easily a football field length away I'd say. These 3000 Lumen LEDs (x2) are just crazy bright, and not just close in. The detail even at 100 yards + out is amazing, everything stands out. I've also not adjusted them properly yet outside - I will widen up the field a bit for deer spotting.

Once the wiring is done and I can ride to a darker place I'll try to get some better pics.

Final update - going over the install a bit more, and everything is fully wired and done.

I mounted the lights up on my mirrors, but you can put them anywhere you want.

Lights:





For wiring I used a fused harness off the battery, connected to a relay mounted under the tank/front seat. The ran the power from the relay up to the front of the bike near the fuse box.

Power wire:



In the picture below is the wiring. The blue lead is the trigger wire for the relay tapped into the low beams. The purple wire is the full power trigger for the LED controller tapped into the high beams.

The controller allows the LEDs to be infinitely dimmable via the remote key fob, and jump to full power when you switch on the high beams.The other two sets of connections are the power from the battery/relay to the controller, and the output of the controller to the lights. As the wiring sizes were mismatched, I used Posi-Twist connectors.

I did not use a separate switch as the controller has a remote control which suits my needs to turn them on off or dim them.

Got out to test ride at night with these on some dark roads and they are simply amazing. They put out more usable light than the high beam and low combined - and the light is pure white an brings out the detail. I was running them with the lows at about 30@ and did not seem to piss off any cager - switch on the high beams and they jump to full power (much quicker than the HID's, which is nice).

NO,No, No.   Recieved mine - one light not working.  No Refund available and good luck if you have to go through the return for repair saga.  I still have the faulty one.  Makes the 24x7 diy very very expensive. Dose anyone know who may be able to repair one in Brisbane?
